Flandreau Booster Club Bean Bag Tournament

*Teams of 2 will be the only way to register for the tournament. A team name must be submitted for each team on the individual registration forms. Individual Registration forms must be completed for each player on a team.

*Registration can be submitted up until the final first-round heat is started.
*No player substitutions will be allowed after the beginning of the first round of
play.

*Registration will be $5 per team if both players become members of the Flandreau FFA Booster Club, $10 per team if both players do not become members, or $7.50 per team if only 1 player becomes a member.

*Teams/players must be aware of the schedule and ready to play at their turn. If the team is not available 5 minutes after the end of the previous match, they shall forfeit that entire match if no other arrangements have been made with the officials. The opposing (winning) team of the forfeit will receive 3 points for that match.

*Matches will be best of 3 games. Each game will be played to EXACTLY 21 points.
*If a team advances past 21 points, their score will be reduced to 13 points.
  This can be done as many times as a team scores more than 21 points.

*3 points are earned for a bag in the hole and 1 point for a bag on the board.

*Negation or cancellation scoring where opposing players' frame points cancel one another out will be used. Only those points that do not cancel out apply to the total overall score. 
 *Example: Red team scores 7 points in a frame and Blue team scores 9 points in the
  same frame. The difference is 2 (9-7=2). Blue team scores 2 points in that frame.

  *"Skunk" games occur when one team earns 13 or more points while the other
  team still has 0 points. A skunk can only be called after each player in a round 
(on 1 side of the field) has thrown all 4 bags.

*A coin can be flipped to determine the first throwing team of the game and which side of the boards they would like to use. The loser of the previous game will be the first thrower on the 2nd and/or third games.

*There will be approximately 24 feet between the fronts of each board.

*Awards:
 *1st place team – 25% of total bean bag registration collected 
  - team and individual names on the plaque in the Flandreau Ag Education Classroom
*2nd place team – 10% of total bean bag registration collected
